Schedule a report to TWO destinations, break one deliberately, and build the check that tells you which recipients actually received it. Two destinations, because one is not enough to see the interesting behaviour: a job delivering to two channels where one fails shows you exactly what the estate does with a partial failure, and the answer is usually that the job reports success. Reading that with your own eyes is the point of the lab. Break it in a way you can undo — a wrong address, an unreachable path — and record three things: what the job status said, what the log said, and whether anything anywhere told a human. The third is the one that matters and it is usually blank. Then build the check.
