Getting an OIC instance

You need an instance, and the one module that needs TWO rather than one is worth knowing about now — the environment-and-promotion module, where the whole point is moving an integration between environments. A TRIAL is the fastest route and it expires. Good for the first ten modules, and the constraint is time rather than capability: plan to work through the material at a pace the trial supports, or expect to start again. AN EMPLOYER'S OR CLIENT'S INSTANCE is the best option and the most constrained. Real adapters, real connections, real volumes — and somebody else's production estate on the other end of those connections. Ask before activating anything that calls a live system, and never point a test integration at a production endpoint, which is Module 16's most expensive failure.
