A FIELD RENAMED OR REMOVED UPSTREAM. What breaks, what FAILS SILENTLY, and how to find out BEFORE A USER DOES. Fusion is upgraded on Oracle's schedule, not yours. Your application depends on the shape of what it returns, and nothing connects the two. WHAT BREAKS LOUDLY IS THE SMALL HALF: A RESOURCE THAT MOVES OR DISAPPEARS. The call fails, the network tab shows a 404, and somebody investigates the same day. That is the good outcome and it is not what usually happens. WHAT FAILS SILENTLY IS A FIELD. An attribute renamed upstream still leaves the call succeeding with a valid response — and your binding, pointing at the old path, renders empty. Module 4 Lesson 4's failure arriving without anybody having typed anything wrong, and the generated type from Lesson 2 makes it worse by continuing to offer the path that no longer arrives.
