Calder Industries. A manufacturing group of about six thousand employees, with operations in three countries. Its EPM estate has grown without a plan, and Calder has asked you to assess it, fix what needs fixing, and propose how it should be run. What exists today. Planning, test and production, implemented three years ago by a partner. Financial Consolidation and Close, test and production, implemented eighteen months ago by a DIFFERENT partner. Account Reconciliation, production only, implemented last year. An Enterprise Data Management business process environment, set up during a proof of concept, now holding about four thousand records and growing. And a dormant environment nobody can account for. How it is structured. Two cloud accounts. The first, created by the original partner, holds Planning. The second, created by Calder's IT team, holds everything else.
