A suite, not a product

The framing the whole course rests on. Cloud EPM is a family of business processes, each bought separately or in a bundle, each implemented separately — and critically, an environment hosts ONE business process. That surprises people. You do not put Planning and Financial Consolidation and Close in the same environment. Then the estate arithmetic that follows: a client running three business processes with test and production has six environments, which is six sets of users, six maintenance windows, six backup regimes and six monitoring routines. What they all share is the platform, and that shared layer is this course.
