Submitting, monitoring and cancelling

Where to watch a running job, what its statuses mean, and what cancelling actually does to work already in progress. The scheduled processes page is the single view: what is running, what is queued, what finished and with what outcome. Learn to filter it by submitter and by date before you need it, because on a busy estate the default view is a wall. The statuses that matter. Running means it has started. Blocked or waiting means it is behind something — a queue, or another process it depends on — and that is a very different problem from failing. Succeeded means it finished without an exception, which is not the same as having done what you wanted: this file's recurring lesson, and the reason Lesson 6 exists.
