A short list, deliberately. Most of this job is done inside Fusion itself, and a technical consultant who needs six local tools has usually built something the product would have done. Locally, you need three things. A spreadsheet application that will not mangle your data — and the one thing to fix on day one is leading zeros and long numbers, which a default CSV save silently destroys, which is the commonest cause of an FBDI file that fails on rows a human can see are correct. A plain text editor that shows encoding and line endings. And a REST client for Module 10, so you can call a service and read the raw answer rather than guessing from a wrapper.
