The designer has a great many panels and four of them account for almost everything you will do. PAGES ARE WHAT THE USER SEES. Components placed and arranged, and their properties. This is the part that looks like the product in a demonstration and it is the smallest share of the actual work. VARIABLES ARE THE APPLICATION'S STATE, AND THEY ARE WHERE BEGINNERS UNDERESTIMATE THE PRODUCT. Every value a page holds — what is in a field, what a service returned, which row is selected — is a variable, and components are BOUND to them rather than holding data themselves.
