One environment, one business process

An environment hosts one business process. Fourth appearance. It has earned it. What that means when somebody asks for a second one: they need a second environment, which needs entitlement, which is Module 2. The chain is three links long and people ask for the last one without knowing about the first two. And now the distinction that genuinely confuses people. Application types versus business processes. Some capabilities — Sales Planning, Strategic Workforce Planning — are application types WITHIN Planning, rather than separate business processes. THIS MATERIALLY CHANGES THE ESTATE ARITHMETIC. A client who thinks Sales Planning needs its own environment is buying an environment they do not need. What "creating a business process" does: it turns an empty environment into a working application, with its dimensions, artefacts and navigation.
