The command surface

The command set, grouped by what it does rather than listed alphabetically. Session — signing in and out. Files — uploading, downloading, listing, deleting. Snapshots and backups — Module 12's operations. Data and metadata — importing and exporting. Application — refreshing, running rules and jobs. Environment — maintenance, restarting, recreating. Reporting and diagnostics — activity reports, feedback. And user and role management — provisioning operations. Command availability differs by business process. Not everything works everywhere. Check before building. TEACH THE LOOKUP, NOT THE LIST. ANY COMMAND LIST YOU RECORD WILL BE INCOMPLETE WITHIN A YEAR. The grouping is the thing to remember. Knowing that a capability EXISTS lets you go find the command. And the role requirement: most commands require service administrator. Some require more.
