Open the job scheduling interface, show the job types available in this business process, schedule a recurring job, configure recurrence, run it and review the job console, show job history and failure visibility, and show notification on completion or failure. JOB SCHEDULER IS UNDER-USED BECAUSE ADMINISTRATORS REACH FOR SCRIPTING REFLEXIVELY. For in-environment recurring work it is simpler, it is visible in the console, and there is no infrastructure to maintain. Start here. CONFIGURE FAILURE NOTIFICATION. A scheduled job that fails silently is the problem this module warns about. The available job types differ by business process. Check what is there before designing around something that is not.
