SSO across different cloud accounts

Lesson 94 of 201 · 12 min

The use case — estates spanning cloud accounts, typically after an acquisition or an inherited structure. Configure cross-account federation, test it, and show the limits and the additional complexity. THIS IS THE MOST COMPLEX IDENTITY CONFIGURATION IN THE COURSE, and the strongest practical argument for getting Module 3's cloud account decision right. If you are configuring this because of an inherited structure, cost the consolidation alternative honestly before committing to maintain it — because the cost of this configuration is paid every year and the consolidation is paid once.
