The implementation lifecycle

The phases, with rough durations on a mid-size project: discovery, design, configure, data migration, test cycles, training, cutover, hypercare. Where this course sits on that timeline. Modules 4 to 6 are design-heavy and deliberately front-loaded, because those are the decisions that are expensive to reverse. Modules 7 to 12 are configuration. Modules 14 and 15 are migration. Module 13, reporting, spans everything. The documentation assumes a clean sequence in which nothing blocks, and something always blocks. Security is late because IT is late. Tax is late because the tax adviser is late. You configure around the gaps, because waiting for the dependency is not available to you — and pretending otherwise is how a plan becomes fiction. The test cycles are not interchangeable. CRP proves the configuration does what you designed. SIT proves the pieces work together, interfaces included.
