How to use the labs

Lesson 4 of 184 · 3 min

The first builds or configures something and it is the half that looks like the lesson. The second breaks it deliberately and observes what the system says — and that is the half people leave out when they are short of time. IT TRANSFERS AND THE FIRST HALF LARGELY DOES NOT, FOR A SPECIFIC REASON. The build steps are published; you will look them up when you need them and the documentation is better than your memory of a lab. What you cannot look up is what a particular failure LOOKS LIKE from the outside — which log line appears, how long it takes to show up, what the users report, and which two innocent-looking causes it resembles. THAT RECOGNITION IS WHAT SEPARATES SOMEBODY
