What breaks

A six-step diagnostic, then eight cases. The most common symptom is the large "other" bucket — actual costs not mapping to reporting nodes. But the most damaging is the second: project managers who quietly will not use the plan because the structure is too complex, so they plan in a spreadsheet instead and you find out at the first forecast cycle.
