Administering Cloud EPM: The Platform Beneath the Business Processes · Module 14 · Monitoring the Estate
The activity report: environment and users
Lesson 160 of 201 · 14 min
Locate and open an activity report. Walk the environment information section — what it tells you about the environment's state — and the user information: who signed in, how often, from where. Show what an unusual access pattern looks like, and show identifying inactive users, connected to Module 6's access review. THE USER SECTION ANSWERS "WHO IS ACTUALLY USING THIS?" — which is the question behind licence consumption, access reviews and adoption measurement all at once. Inactive users are both a licence question and a security question. Feed them into the quarterly access review.
