Administering Cloud EPM: The Platform Beneath the Business Processes · Module 14 · Monitoring the Estate
Audit, login and usage reporting
Lesson 167 of 201 · 13 min
The available audit reports and what each covers, the available login reports, the audit log from the cloud console, programmatic access to audit data, usage reports reconciled against Module 2's entitlement, and what SIEM integration involves at a concept level. USAGE REPORTING AGAINST ENTITLEMENT IS A RECURRING TASK, NOT A ONE-OFF CHECK. Module 2's ceilings are only useful if somebody is watching the approach. Audit and login reports are IDENTITY-DOMAIN-LEVEL, which means they span the environments in that domain — another consequence of Module 3's design. SIEM integration is where a mature security function will want this to end up. Know it is possible and what it involves; commissioning it is a joint project.
