This lesson is a map. By the end of it you should be able to place any module in this course on a real project timeline. The phases: discovery, design, configure, data migration, test cycles, parallel run, training, cutover, hypercare. Discovery is where you find out what the organisation actually does — not what the org chart says. Design is where the modules with permanent decisions live. Configure is most of this course by page count and honestly the least risky phase, because a configuration mistake caught in configuration is just a Tuesday. Data migration is always bigger than the plan says. Overlay the course and look at the shape: the design modules are a small part of the course and a large part of the risk.
