Security profiles: the six types

Six types, each with a concrete example, because the names alone are forgettable and the examples are not. Person security profile — which people's records you can reach. The most important and most complex, and where most of your design time goes. Its criteria are the interesting part: by manager hierarchy, the people who report to you to whatever depth you specify; by area of responsibility, the population you are designated responsible for; by workforce structure, everyone in a department or legal employer or business unit; by custom criteria, a predicate you write yourself, which is powerful and a maintenance trap; or all people, which has exactly one legitimate use and a hundred illegitimate ones.
