Lab briefing · Promote, and prove it is isolated
Lesson 162 of 175 · 2 min
Export from one instance, import to another, complete the checklist, and DEMONSTRATE THAT THE PROMOTED FLOW CANNOT REACH THE SOURCE ENVIRONMENT. The demonstration is the exercise, and it is deliberately a proof of a NEGATIVE — which is harder than proving the flow works and is the property that actually protects the client. DO THE PROMOTION PROPERLY FIRST. Export, import, then the checklist in order: connections corrected and individually tested, lookups present and carrying this environment's values, certificates uploaded, and only then a schedule. Tick each item as a written list rather than working from memory, because the point is to practise the thing you will do under pressure. THEN PROVE THE ISOLATION, AND "I CHECKED THE CONNECTIONS" IS NOT A PROOF. Reading a configuration tells you what somebody intended; the flow may hold a second connection you did not open, a hard-coded endpoint in a mapping, or a lookup…
