What breaks: three binding failures

A TABLE THAT DID NOT REFRESH AFTER A SAVE, A DATE A DAY OUT FOR HALF THE YEAR, and AN EMPTY STATE SHOWN WHEN THE SERVICE WAS DOWN. THE TABLE THAT DID NOT REFRESH IS THE ONE EVERY BEGINNER MEETS IN THE FIRST WEEK. A row is saved successfully, the service confirms it, and the list still shows the old contents — usually because the local array was mutated rather than reassigned, or because nothing re-fetched after the write. Lesson 1, and the tell is that the data is demonstrably correct while the screen is not. THE DATE A DAY OUT IS THE ONE NOBODY BELIEVES AT FIRST. A date rendered in the viewer's timezone shifts across midnight for anybody east or west of where it was entered — and because daylight saving moves the offset, it is wrong for part of the year and right for the rest.
