Creating a project template
Lesson 185 of 198 · 15 min
Create a project template. Select the project type from Module 7. Enter basic information and setup options. Set the project unit, organization defaults and calendar. Provide additional information — the descriptive attributes. Set the numbering behaviour, save, and review the option groups. The project type selection determines what the rest of the template can do. Same relationship as everywhere in this course. Walk every option group, even briefly, so learners know what is available. NAME TEMPLATES FOR THE PROJECT MANAGER, NOT THE CONSULTANT. "Client Engagement — T&M" beats "PJT_TEMPLATE_01".
