Northwind again, and this time it is people rather than infrastructure. The estate: Planning, Financial Consolidation and Close, Account Reconciliation and Cloud EDM, each with test and production. Eight environments. The population. A central finance systems team of three, who administer everything. Twelve financial analysts who contribute to Planning and read Financial Consolidation and Close. Six group accountants who work in Financial Consolidation and Close and approve reconciliations. Four reconciliation preparers. Two data stewards in EDM. Roughly two hundred budget holders who enter numbers into Planning and see nothing else. And an internal audit team of two who need read-only access to everything. The subsidiary in the second country has its own three-person finance team, who must access only their own entities — a business process configuration matter, but their PLATFORM access is the same as their domestic equivalents.
