Six layers, and the order matters. A Fusion Applications environment with AI Agent Studio available. The Service Administrator role in the Cloud EPM environment. Federation configured between the Fusion Applications identity domain and the Cloud EPM identity domain — that is Module 8's cross-domain SSO, which is why that lesson was built. A confidential application created in the identity domain for the integration. A data source connection established in AI Agent Studio. And the assistants downloaded and imported. THE PIVOT POINT IS FEDERATION. Without it, nothing works. And it is not a small task. If Module 8's cross-domain configuration was skipped, this module stops here. Why the stack is this shape: the agent lives in one product and acts on another. Both need to trust the same identity, and the agent needs a credential to act with.
