Running and validating agents

Lesson 184 of 201 · 12 min

Run an imported agent, show it interacting with the EPM environment, validate the result against what the environment actually contains, show an agent failing and diagnose it against the prerequisite stack, and show where the interaction is logged. VALIDATE AGAINST REALITY. An agent that returns a confident WRONG answer is worse than one that fails — and the only way to know is to check. Diagnose against the stack. Failures almost always trace to federation, the confidential application, access on one side, or the data source connection — in that order. LOGGING MATTERS FOR GOVERNANCE. An agent acting on a finance environment should leave a trail, and somebody should be able to answer what it did.
