A unified, standing effort to ensure adoption and good practice — driving transformation in the business processes related to performance management, and in how the technology is used. What the team does. Ensures adoption, so the organization gets the value it paid for. Serves as the steering committee for standards and good practice. And leads change management, and drives transformation. Standing, not project. That is the distinguishing feature. A project team disbands. A CoE persists — which is what makes it capable of the annual and quarterly work in Module 13's calendar. Nobody does an annual recovery test on a project. IT APPLIES AFTER IMPLEMENTATION TOO — ARGUABLY MORE. Organizations that have already gone live benefit as much or more, because the project team has gone and the capability went with them.
