Creating a planning RBS

Create a planning resource breakdown structure: name, and whether it is used for project planning, financial planning or both. Enter the basic details and setup options. Select the resource formats the structure will support, per resource class. Set the hierarchy levels and whether the structure allows resource changes at project level. Save and review. FORMAT SELECTION IS THE DECISION THAT SHAPES EVERYTHING. Enabling ten formats means a planner has ten ways to add a line. Enable what is needed. Whether the structure serves project planning, financial planning or both is set here, and it matters for Module 9. Level design is set at creation. Adding a level later is disruptive.
