A subscription typically includes a test and a production environment, distinguished in the URL. What test is genuinely for: validating patches before they reach production, testing configuration changes, and training. Not, ideally, all three at once. And here is the property that makes a test environment worth its cost. Test environments receive updates before production. That gap is your window to find problems — and it is the single most valuable operational property of having a test environment. Module 13 builds the routine around it.
