Administering Cloud EPM: The Platform Beneath the Business Processes · Module 15 · User Enablement and Support
Feedback notifications and triage
Lesson 174 of 201 · 10 min
The notification a service administrator receives when a user submits feedback, what it contains, triaging it — is this a defect, a training gap, or a configuration issue? — the unsubscribe path, and the fact that the submitter always receives their own notification regardless. THESE NOTIFICATIONS ARE A GENUINELY USEFUL SIGNAL AND MOST ADMINISTRATORS UNSUBSCRIBE FROM THEM. They tell you what your users are struggling with, in their own words, with screenshots. TRIAGE IS THE VALUE. Most submissions are not defects. They are training gaps, configuration issues or misunderstandings — and each of those is something you can fix. UNSUBSCRIBING IS IRREVERSIBLE. Know that before clicking it in irritation.
