Inspection and putaway

Lesson 123 of 188 · 11 min

Inspect a received line and accept part and reject part. Put away accepted material to a subinventory and locator, show rejected material routed to quarantine, show on-hand appearing only after putaway, and show the receiving area balance. On-hand appears at putaway, not at receipt. That is a very common "where is my material" question — especially where standard routing is used and nobody explained the two-step process to the people asking. Rejected material should go somewhere non-nettable. That is the quarantine subinventory from the organizations module doing its job — point at it, because that lesson argued for it in the abstract and this is the concrete case.
