Lab: three routings and a rejection

Forty-five minutes. Receiving parameters configured for both plants, with justified tolerances — justified, meaning you took a position on how much over-delivery is acceptable and on whether breach warns or rejects. All three routings configured, with a written policy on which material gets which. One item set to require inspection, justified. Receipts executed under each routing. An inspection with partial acceptance, and rejected material routed to quarantine. One over-receipt hitting the tolerance. One receipt correction and one supplier return. And evidence: material visible in the receiving area before putaway, and in stock after. Four acceptance criteria, and the first is written to catch a specific answer. The routing policy is specific, not "inspection for everything". That is the safe answer, it passes every internal review, and it is one of the failure cases.
