Granting plant and cost organization access

Open the Manage Data Access for Users task under Users and Security. Create a grant — production supervisor, manufacturing plant context, your plant value — then repeat for production operator and manufacturing engineer. Create a cost organization grant for the cost accountant and an inventory organization grant for the inventory manager. Sign in as the supervisor and confirm work orders are visible; sign in as the cost accountant and confirm cost setup is reachable. Do all five grants on screen. The repetition is the point — you need to see that this is a grid, not a one-off task. Cutting to "and I have done the other four" loses the only thing this lesson teaches. A production supervisor typically needs both plant and inventory organization access. Granting plant only leaves them unable to see material availability, which they will report as a bug on day one.
