Why loading is a design activity Data loading is often treated as a mechanical task at the end of an implementation. It is in fact where most of the design decisions get tested, because the loader will not accept records that contradict the structures you built. A load that fails is frequently telling you something true about the configuration. Fusion offers bulk loading for large volumes prepared outside the system, and spreadsheet-based loading for smaller, more interactive corrections. Both share the same underlying validation, which is the important point: the spreadsheet route is not a way around a rule the bulk route enforced.
