Six cases, and two of them are correct behaviour. One. "Pick release picked nothing." No available stock — or all of it reserved elsewhere. Two different situations with one symptom, and the transaction history drill separates them. Two. "The wrong lot shipped." Picking rule not set to first-expired-first-out; reported by a customer, usually, with an expiry date attached. Three. "Ship confirm fails." Staging subinventory missing — or shipping parameters not configured for that organization. The second plant, again. Four. "Stock left Skien and has not arrived at Bergen." In-transit, working correctly. Nothing is wrong: somebody has correctly configured in-transit and nobody told the person now looking for a pallet. Five. "Shipped material still shows as on hand." Ship confirm not completed. Picked and staged is not shipped — the pivotal event, stated as a symptom. Six. "Cost of goods sold is in the wrong period." Ship confirm date versus costing…
