Review the shipment before confirming, enter shipping details — carrier, weight, tracking — ship confirm, show on-hand reducing, show the transaction available for costing, and show a shipment that fails to confirm, and why. Ship confirm is the irreversible one. Correcting a confirmed shipment is possible and unpleasant. Train users to check before confirming — and say that to the client as a training requirement rather than as a warning to yourself. The transaction now flows to costing, and the close module picks it up.
