Activating: adding to an existing account

Follow the path to add a subscription to an existing cloud account and show the differences from the new-account path. Show what you inherit — existing domains, existing policies, existing administrators. Walk the situation where the existing account was created by somebody else, and the practical steps to establish control, then show the resulting estate view. "It already exists" is not a reason to use it. Inspect first: who administers it, what else is in it, how identity is structured, whether it is a leftover trial. Then decide. Establishing administrative control of an account somebody else created is a real task with a real lead time. Start it early. If it is genuinely a leftover trial with no other content, creating fresh is often cleaner. Worth saying plainly, because learners expect the answer to be "adopt it" and it frequently is not.
