Administering Cloud EPM: The Platform Beneath the Business Processes · Module 3 · Cloud Account, Identity Domains and Regions
Creating a compartment
Lesson 35 of 201 · 8 min
Navigate to compartments, create one, name it against a convention, and show where it now appears when you provision a resource. Then show a policy scoped to that compartment. Name it for what it contains, not for who asked for it. Team names change; the resources do not. Creating a compartment is easy. Reorganising resources across compartments later is not. Decide the structure before you provision environments into it.
