Report quantity complete at the first operation and show the quantity moving to the next. Report a partial quantity and show the split. Show operation status and the work order progress view, then use quick complete on a second work order and contrast the two approaches — and show what quick complete did behind the scenes. Quick complete performs every transaction in one action — operations, backflush, resources, completion. Convenient and opaque. Show what it actually did, so it is clear it is not magic: that is the lesson, and it is also the prevention for the last of this module's failure cases. Count point operations determine where the operator must report — the work definitions decision, made visible. Partial completions are normal.
