Resource transactions

Lesson 141 of 188 · 10 min

Show automatic resource charging on operation completion, manually charge additional resource time, show the difference between planned and actual resource usage, and show a resource transaction correction. Resource time becomes labour and machine cost in the close module. Inaccurate resource reporting produces inaccurate cost, and the variance lands on the controller's desk — where it is your problem rather than the operator's. Automatic charging based on the work definition is standard. Manual charging captures the exceptions — the extra two hours nobody planned, which are exactly the hours that explain a variance.
