Show how work center resource availability derives from the plant calendar and shift patterns. Configure a resource with different availability from the plant default, add a planned maintenance exception, view the resource availability calendar, then schedule a work order and show it respecting availability. Planned maintenance windows belong here. If a machine is down every second Tuesday, the schedule must know — otherwise the plan is confidently wrong on a predictable cycle. Overriding availability per resource is powerful and creates maintenance. Use it where genuinely needed.
