Implementing Global HR: From Enterprise Model to Live Workforce · Module 11 · The Action Framework, Employment Flows and Terminations
Guided flows and Transaction Design Studio preview
Lesson 112 of 175 · 12 min
Walk a delivered guided flow — the hire process — and note every page. Then open the design tooling and see how pages and fields can be shown, hidden or made required by role. Add additional content to a flow, personalise the universal header for employment flows, and look at the same flow as two different roles. Simplifying flows is the highest-return usability work in an HCM implementation. A manager doing a promotion should see six fields, not sixty — and seeing the sixty-field version makes that case better than the sentence does. Configure by role. The HR specialist and the line manager need different things, and giving both the HR view is how a manager self-service rollout fails. Full coverage of the design tooling comes later in the course; this is the employment-specific application of it.
