Implementing Global HR: From Enterprise Model to Live Workforce · Module 11 · The Action Framework, Employment Flows and Terminations
Reversing and correcting employment errors
Lesson 116 of 175 · 11 min
Reverse a termination. Correct an incorrectly dated hire. Delete an erroneous date-effective assignment change. See what cannot be reversed, and what the workaround is. Then look at the audit trail after a correction. This is the lesson HR support teams will thank you for. Errors happen daily, and knowing the recovery path is core operational skill rather than an edge case. Some corrections leave a trail and some do not. Know which — auditors will ask, and "I think so" is not an answer. And reversal is not always available once downstream processing has occurred. Check payroll before assuming.
