Review work definition names and what they are for. Create a work definition for a finished assembly, set the version and effective dates, show creating a second version for a future process change, and show both versions coexisting. Multiple work definitions for one item handle genuinely different routes — a rush route, a route at a different plant. Do not create them for minor variation; that is what versions are for.
