Lab: build the route the plant actually runs

Ninety minutes. Listen to this scenario carefully — several of its sentences are the acceptance criteria in disguise. The Bergen finished assembly goes through: preparation, welding, machining, an outside plating operation at a local supplier, assembly, and final inspection. Welding uses two welders and a welding station. Machining setup takes forty-five minutes regardless of quantity. Run time is six minutes per unit. Fasteners and sealant are consumed continuously and reliably. The hydraulic actuator is expensive, serialized, and fitted at assembly. And inspection is performed — but has never appeared on any process document. The supervisor mentioned it in passing. Four things in there, each mapping to a lesson. "Setup takes forty-five minutes regardless of quantity; run time is six minutes per unit" is the basis decision, with the numbers supplied so you can verify by hand — the acceptance criteria check a two-hundred-unit order, so do that arithmetic on paper
