Seven cases, and two of them are the same cause wearing different clothes. One. "The structure load rejected most rows." The component items do not exist. Sequence. Two. "The work order shows the wrong components." Effectivity dates — check what date the work order is using, and it is not always today. Three. "We always run short of one component." Yield not configured. Four. "Standard cost is lower than actual, consistently." Same root cause: yield and scrap not in the structure. The shop floor reports a material shortage; Finance reports a cost variance; neither department mentions the other, and the fix is one field. Five.
