A project enterprise resource is a person or thing that can be staffed on a project — the execution side's view of a person. Where they come from: usually from HCM, where employees and contingent workers become project enterprise resources; some can be created directly. THE HCM DEPENDENCY. If HCM is not implemented, somebody still creates person records. Flag it as a real prerequisite; it surprises people — and it is the same dependency Module 2 raised for provisioning. The attributes that matter: the resource's calendar, their role or job, their organization, their availability, and whether they are eligible for staffing. Then the build: manage employees and contingent workers as project enterprise resources, run the process that creates or maintains them, set resource attributes, assign a calendar from Module 4, and show a resource available for staffing.
