Implementing Global HR: From Enterprise Model to Live Workforce · Module 6 · Jobs and Positions
Creating jobs
Lesson 61 of 175 · 10 min
Create jobs across two families, setting family, function, level and the structure attributes. Set the reference data set, demonstrating global versus local placement. Associate legal employers with a job. Set the scheduling group attribute. And show effective-dated job changes. Legal employer association restricts which employers can use a job. That is useful for genuinely local roles and unnecessary overhead if applied everywhere — both halves are worth saying, because the instinct is to fill in every field offered. And jobs are effective-dated: renaming a job is a date-effective update and history is preserved. Worth showing rather than asserting.
