Implementing Global HR: From Enterprise Model to Live Workforce · Module 6 · Jobs and Positions

Loading workforce structures by spreadsheet

Lesson 70 of 175 · 10 min

Download the workforce structures spreadsheet template, populate jobs and positions in bulk, upload, review the validation results, correct a deliberately failing row and reload, then verify the loaded objects. This is the practical way to create a position catalogue. Nobody types three thousand positions — and somebody who does not know this exists will assume the position model is impossible. Automatic code generation and spreadsheet loading can conflict, which is the callback to the structures lesson: decide the code strategy first. And the fuller data loading toolset comes later in the course; this is the workforce-structures slice of it.
