Review the item import options, prepare a small file of twenty items from the course data pack, import and review the results. Then introduce four deliberate errors — invalid class, missing required attribute, duplicate number, invalid UOM — and show each rejection. Correct and reload, import five hundred items, assign them to organizations in bulk, and verify counts. Sample-load twenty before loading five hundred. Consistent with the other two courses, and ignored just as often. Read the rejection message literally; it names the attribute. Item import and organization assignment are separate steps. Loading items and forgetting assignment is extremely common — and it produces the "item does not exist in this plant" failure across five hundred items at once.
