Configure the transfer relationship between Plant B and Plant A, set the transfer type — direct or in-transit — and explain the difference. Set the transfer charge and accounting treatment, configure the warehouse-to-plant relationship, perform a test inter-organization transfer, and show the resulting on-hand change in both organizations. In-transit versus direct is the design decision here. In-transit gives you visibility of stock in the truck and an intermediate accounting state. Direct is simpler and assumes instantaneous movement. Choose based on how far apart the sites are, and whether anyone cares about goods in transit. The lab makes you defend this against a four-hour journey. Transfer relationships must exist in the direction you want to move. Configure both directions if both are needed; only configuring one is a common oversight and it is one of the failure cases.
